The founding director, with over twenty one years of senior management across the statutory and voluntary sectors, established mtb~lakes.com to deliver strategic consultancy and operational management from project inception to implementation

With extensive senior management experience, at Chief Executive Officer & Board level, jon has grown organisations and development programmes with £5m+ turnovers his clients include:- local statutory agencies, health authorities, and he is a member of a tri-departmental regeneration programme for national government

Recent development contracts include a Market Town Initiative, the Whinlatter Feasibility Study, and management training on the first national programme for senior youth work managers as an MBA module

He was the inaugural Chair of the Cumbria Youth Alliance, taking it through a 'Building a Better Business' programme and acquiring IIP status

Jon created the award winning Ambleside Mountain Festival as Founding Director & Administrator over the five year run

A committed adventure enthusiast, jon has travelled extensively, passing through many adventure capitals around the world
